Sprint goal

A sprint goal is one sentence describing the outcome the sprint is for, written so a non-engineer understands it.

The goal is what turns a list of chores into a coherent sprint. If you cannot write it, the sprint has no theme, and mid-sprint trade-offs have no basis for resolution beyond whoever argues hardest.

It is also the tie-breaker: when the sprint is running short, the goal tells you which items to drop — the ones that do not serve it.

The sprint modal captures a goal alongside name and dates; the goal displays on the sprint card.
